A big part of your web succes is also the domain name. Is it appealing to your audience, is it promising content which is searched etc. When Searchengines return with millions of possible webpages you are likely to click on a name which promises to have content which you are looking for. There are a lot of things to consider when selecting a domain name.

What is the most important when selecting a domain name?

1. that it is descriptive (of your whole business, your product, your service)

2. I know it is not easy but it should describe your whole business in one or two words. Like the domain "lastminute.com" or domain "Loans.com"  I know all these domains are already taken in ALL the languages BUT this is what we have to find  & I will try it for you FREE of charge - just ask..

3. that it is easily remembered, recalled and maybe relayed to a friend on the phone 

4. WITHOUT SPELLING it. for example I have a domain www.Tenerifecars.com = when in Tenerife and/or car then my domain.

5. that name appeals to your audience and promises to have content which is searched for. Words like Toys, furniture, accomodations, books, or whatever it is should or could be part of the domain name to assure the visitor that he can find what he is looking for.

6. Also Try domains of other countries - if I could find a domain like "rentacar.it /be/cn/cz/ I will take whatever ending after rentacar.

7. Also other languages, e.g. if I offer car hire I can call it Mietwagen, Autovermietung, Leihwagen etc.etc.etc. to attract the german tourists or other nationalities.

What service or product are you offering. Good idea to include your business sector in the domain name like www.rentacar-smith.com or www. Hotelsevillia.com. Additional names could be www. Autovermietung-Smith.com etc. People tend to click on the domains which are promising the results they are looking for.
